It’s having GOALS.
A ship with a captain that knows where he is going will 99.9% reach the port that it is intended to arrive.
A ship with no captain or one that has no idea at all where he is going will most certainly ended up floating on the endless sea or deserted on some isolated islands.
The difference between arriving or not is GOALS.
Some of us have them, most of us don’t. We may have occasional wishes (e.g. “I want to be rich” “I want to lose 30 lbs” “I want to get a 6 figure salary job”), none of these are goals. They are but mumbling that has no effect towards our reaching success in life.
Why most fail to achieve goals?
Because many simply SET goals, they do not take the further steps to ensure execution and realisation of the goals.
EXECUTION MATTERS. If we don’t execute, goals will remain dreams.
It’s like memorizing words. It doesn’t require a high IQ, nor does it require a lot of money to buy materials. You just need to insist on reciting and learning new words every day, but the problem lies in the lack of persistence for many people.
Why the lack of persistence?
Because many don’t have the faith that their goals can be achieved. Many take goals as prayers — and wish that one day they got lucky or a genie will help them realise the goals. It takes close to no effort to wish, it is easy to do but with very little effect.
One of the key issues that I found in taking actions to achieving goals is: *Although I set a goal, I still have no / not enough motivation.”
This kind of thinking is normal. We want better and more things in life, but at the same time we think that they are too far away from us. Hence, our passion in goals can’t persist until its realisation.
What’s the solution?
We need a GOAL ACHIEVEMENT SYSTEM to keep us in check. Not a goal setting system, but achievement system.
Regardless of what success means and looks to you, you NEED TO HAVE GOALS and you NEED TO REALISE THEM for you to be successful in life.
Goal achievement is not as easy as setting your goal at the beginning of the year and then forgetting about it, waiting for it to realise itself. This wouldn’t work — if it would work, everyone would have achieved our goals already.
What is needed in the goal achievement system for you to ACTUALLY ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS AND HAVE WHAT YOU WANT?
12 KEY elements:
- keep reinforcing what you want,
- learn and study about the exact laws of getting what you want,
- break down your goals into progressive realisation,
- live inside out and create your own circumstances,
- take progressively action towards your goals,
- install gratitude and faith,
- eliminate self-doubt and negative self talk,
- refinement of your course and level up your actions,
- learn and apply the power of repetition and compounding,
- learn and apply abundant mindset and fuller expression,
- shifting from competition to creation,
- learn and apply advancement
These are the things that you need to understand and apply to achieve your goals — including both mental and execution aspects. Lacking either one of the aspects one could not achieve. The system is replicable, and intend to be repeated each year for new goals achievement. Those minority who achieved their goals understand and apply these — whether consciously or subconsciously.
The reason for lack of motivation is because you don’t know how to accomplish what you like-the goal is not clear, so it is difficult to execute.
If you know how to systematically learn the right knowledge and execute to achieve your goal, you would be able to stay focus and motivated.

Every day begins with all kinds of intrusions, temptations, and distractions that pull us away from our plans and goals.
Here are some tips for everyone, so that we can better implement our daily goals.
- *1. list of daily tasks, but no more than 3. **
More than 3 tasks will trigger rebellious psychology.
- *2. The first task you start every day must be the most important one. **
Doing small tasks first can lead to a lack of energy to complete the most important tasks.
- *3. Establish A/B plan. **
Plan A is to complete 3 missions. But we don’t grow up all at once, making sure that the plan is perfect every day.
So plan B is important. Plan B is 1/3 of the amount of Plan A.
If it’s too late to complete plan A due to procrastination or temptation, or any other things in life, forgive yourself and immediately implement plan B to turn procrastination into energy recovery!
It is important to maintain continuity of achievement. This will greatly increase our confidence.
- *4. 15 minutes rule. **
If you are hesitant to start the task:
Start the task for 15 minutes first. If you still don’t want to study after 15 minutes, OK, then just do plan B today.
- *5. Set time block. **
Set each study hour period. It is recommended to study for 25 minutes and rest for 5 minutes. This will greatly keep our focus. For details, refer to the Pomodoro Technique.
