China’s greatest export is…. THIS????

Although China currently exports nearly 70% of daily consumer goods to the world, those goods are not China’s greatest export.

How is that so?

I’ve been studying a book on wealth, not just ANY book on wealth, but one that applies the ancient Buddha philosophical wisdom to create both worldly material wealth and also spiritual wealth.

Geshe Michael once mentioned in a lecture in Shanghai, that that China’s greatest export was the Diamond Sutra.

Because if we succeed by applying the ancient wisdom of the Diamond Sutra, we can use the wisdom of the Diamond Sutra to influence the whole world in a positive way with positive energy.

If the world’s entire society, economy, and culture prosper and develop, it will be because more people use the ancient wisdom inside the Diamond Sutra.

And it’s easy to use! (if you are guided to understand the meaning)

Much easier than you may think!

For example, The Diamond Sutra tells us that success comes from the seeds we plant in our consciousness.

What does it mean?

If I want to start a successful business, I should start by helping others start their own business.

We plant these seeds by helping others succeed.

If I want to find a good partner and start a family with the partner of my dream, then I should first help lonely people such as the elderly in nursing homes.

Plant the seeds of companionship in your own consciousness.

If I wanted to have a child and see my child grow up to be a loving and caring person, I could start by volunteering in a children’s hospital or school.

Plant the corresponding seeds.

That way I can get everything I want.

Through this teaching, Geshe Michael has conveyed the most essential content of the Diamond Sutra to everyone.

When Geshe was giving a lecture, he once said humorously that perhaps you do not have the opportunity or time to recite the entire original text of the Diamond Sutra.

But you can remember a Diamond mantra.

What is this Diamond Mantra?

That is, give out what you want first, give out what you want first, give out what you want first.

If we want success, we plant the seeds for success in our own lives by helping others succeed.

If we want money, we donate to plant the seeds of abundance in our lives.

Master Zhongkaba, who was the teacher of Geshe’s teacher, teaches that “to get something, I must first do it for others.”

Whatever we want, we need to plant the seeds, and then our world will become what we want.

There are three examples in the book that we’re studying together.

(1) if I want to create a new company, a successful business, I have to help others with their business and plant the seeds of success.

(2) If I want to find a good partner and start a family with him, then I have to accompany a lonely person. Why? The reason we want to find a wonderful partner is that deep down we want someone to accompany us in our lives.

There is someone to share the pain, and there is someone to accompany the loneliness, so we should accompany those who are the loneliest, do it for others first, and plant the seeds first.

(3) Likewise, if you want to cultivate a child who is outstanding and knows how to care for others, we should go to children’s hospitals and schools to sow the seeds of love and care, and help more children gain love and achieve success.

Then we will see a very outstanding child appear in our lives.

(Yes, I’m aware that I repeat the examples, repetition is how we learn better)

Now, do you remember the most important core content of the Diamond Sutra?

Through my teaching and study of the Diamond Sutra, I’ve found that no matter what our nationality is, what our cultural background is, or whether we believe in Christianity or other religions, the principles of the Diamond Sutra are applicable and workable.

Hence, it attracts different people from all countries and cultures to study the wisdom within, regardless of religious beliefs or background.
